Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
• Selecting and utilising appropriate cleaning agents to remove stains from surfaces.
• Applying soil-repellent chemicals and deodorisers to surfaces to remove odours.
• Reordering cleaning supplies as needed.
• Replenishing toiletries, such as toilet paper, paper towels and hand wash.
• Using chemicals, solvents, high-pressure water cleaners and other cleaning equipment, such as wet vacuums and other suction equipment.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as required

Requirements And Skills

• Proven working experience as a Cleaner
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Must have a current driver’s license and own reliable transport
• Good level of fitness for handling physical cleaning duties
• Eye for detail
• Must be reliable
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for cleaning
