Project Engineer - Remedial

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our growing Remedial division in Queensland.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including Structural Remediation and Blast and Paint projects, supporting the successful delivery of complex construction and infrastructure works. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Clients, and Subcontractors, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
This position is ideal for a construction professional looking to broaden their project experience while contributing to the delivery of technically challenging and rewarding projects across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of remedial construction projects.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Support procurement and contract administration activities.
- Prepare project reports, forecasts, programs, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and project delivery excellence.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Engineer or similar role.
- A background within the construction industry.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience managing project documentation, cost control, and scheduling.
- The ability to work collaboratively across project teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within remedial construction.
- Exposure to structural remediation, concrete repair, protective coatings, blast and paint, corrosion protection, or industrial maintenance projects.
- Relevant engineering, construction management, or related qualification.

Travel Requirements
This role will involve occasional travel to project locations, including Gladstone, Mackay, and other regional areas as required.
