Investment Banking Analyst – Technology M&A

Kenbury is working with a leading global investment and advisory platform seeking an Analyst to join its growing Technology team in Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career candidate to gain hands-on experience across high-profile M&A transactions within the technology sector. The successful candidate will join a high-performing, collaborative team and work closely with senior bankers across the full transaction lifecycle.

The Role Will Include

• Supporting the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
• Building financial models and undertaking detailed valuation analysis
• Preparing pitch books, information memoranda and transaction materials
• Conducting company, industry and market research
• Assisting with due diligence and transaction coordination
• Developing exposure to technology businesses across areas such as software, fintech, digital infrastructure and technology-enabled services

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• 18 months + M&A advisory related experience
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• A genuine interest in technology and technology-driven business models
• An excellent academic record
• Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to perform effectively within a fast-paced and demanding environment

Candidates may currently be working within an investment bank, independent corporate advisory firm, Big Four M&A team, or another relevant financial advisory environment.

This opportunity offers significant exposure to senior bankers, direct involvement in live transactions and the chance to build specialist Technology M&A experience within a highly regarded international platform.
