The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established Tier 2 construction company with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex projects across Sydney. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued business growth, they are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple projects while mentoring and developing high performing project teams.

Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and support to Project Managers, Site Managers and project teams.
• Manage project performance across safety, quality, programme, budget and client satisfaction.
• Oversee commercial performance including procurement, contract administration, cost control and fore
• casting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative construction methodologies and best practice processes.
• Work closely with the executive leadership team on business planning, resource allocation and operational strategy.
• Ensure projects achieve commercial objectives while maintaining exceptional delivery standards.

About You

• Extensive experience delivering construction projects within a Tier 2 or Tier 1 environment.
• Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager looking to step into a Construction Manager role, or an established Construction Manager seeking a new challenge.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen with a sound understanding of contracts, procurement and financial management.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead high-performing teams.
• Passionate about safety, quality, client relationships and delivering outstanding project outcomes.
