Who is Racing Queensland?

Racing Queensland is the statutory body responsible for leading and supporting Queensland’s Thoroughbred, Greyhound, and Harness racing industries.

Key accountabilities

• Lead Racing Queensland's enterprise risk, compliance, assurance and internal audit functions.
• Serve as a trusted adviser to executive leadership and governance committees on risk, compliance and assurance matters.
• Drive the ongoing development of governance, risk and assurance frameworks that support organisational performance and resilience.
• Influence strategic decision-making through the provision of high-quality risk analysis, advice and reporting.
• Oversee the internal audit, compliance assurance and enterprise risk reporting activities across the organisation.
• Champion a strong risk-aware culture and strengthen enterprise-wide risk ownership and accountability.
• Build effective relationships with executives, industry stakeholders, auditors and governance forums to drive positive organisational outcomes.
