Are you a Senior Business Analyst who thrives on process improvement, stakeholder engagement and organisational transformation?
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major organisation undergoing significant IT transformation. This is an opportunity to play a key role in documenting business processes, supporting organisational change, and working closely with senior technology leaders to improve operational efficiency.
About the Role
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders to capture, analyse and document current and future-state processes. You will be instrumental in developing process documentation, supporting knowledge transfer initiatives, and assisting with organisational restructuring activities.
This role requires someone who is confident engaging with senior executives, comfortable asking challenging questions, and able to extract critical information from stakeholders in a collaborative and empathetic manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, document and improve IT operational processes.
- Develop detailed process documentation, including process maps and swimlane diagrams.
- Document application support processes and operational procedures.
- Partner with IT leaders and HR to develop IT-focused position descriptions.
- Support knowledge transfer and transition activities across IT teams.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather business requirements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices.
- Produce clear, accurate and high-quality business documentation.
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within an enterprise IT environment.
- Strong business process mapping and documentation skills (BPMN, Visio or similar).
- Experience engaging with C-level executives and stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Previous involvement in organisational restructures, outsourcing or offshoring initiatives.
- Exceptional workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to ask insightful questions, challenge assumptions and uncover critical business information.
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
