About The Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for people with advanced mathematics credentials. If you live and breathe algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete math, this is your opportunity to put that expertise to work at the frontier of AI development.

What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and depth
• Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas to design complex, meaningful problem statements
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to enhance AI model reasoning
• Evaluate the mathematical rigor, clarity, and accuracy of AI-generated solutions
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of mathematical precision and intellectual depth
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Holds a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
• Strong expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
• Experienced with Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or technical projects
• Naturally rigorous — you care deeply about correctness, precision, and clarity
• Excellent written communicator who can explain complex mathematical ideas clearly
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation systems
• Background in academic research, mathematical publishing, or technical writing
• Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning workflows
• Experience designing or grading advanced mathematical coursework or assessments
