Fund Analyst/Senior Fund Analyst - Real Estate

The Opportunity

Our client is a leading institutional real estate investment manager with a significant Australian platform, managing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio on behalf of global institutional investors.

An opportunity has arisen for a Fund Analyst or Senior Fund Analyst to join the Funds Management team. Reporting to an experienced Fund Manager, you'll support a portfolio exceeding $6 billion in assets under management, gaining broad exposure across acquisitions, developments, capital management, asset performance and investor reporting.

Working closely with Funds Management, Asset Management, Development, Capital Transactions and Finance, you'll contribute to commercial decision-making across a highly active logistics and industrial portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance fund financial models, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Prepare fund cash flow forecasts, business plans and investor reporting.
• Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Support acquisition underwriting, development feasibility and asset recycling initiatives.
• Partner with Asset Management on leasing, capital expenditure and portfolio performance analysis.
• Assist with debt management and capital structure initiatives.
• Prepare investment committee materials and management reporting.
• Undertake market and industry research to support investment decisions.

We're seeking an analytically minded real estate professional looking to build their career within institutional funds management.

You'll ideally bring

• 2-6 years' experience within institutional real estate funds management, investment management or asset management.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
• Experience supporting fund performance, investment analysis or portfolio reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Property, Economics or a related discipline.
