Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- Oversee general ledger reconciliations and month-end processes.
- Provide analysis and support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
- Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc financial tasks as required.
A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
- CA/CPA Qualification
- Audit background ideal but not mandatory
