Drill Operator

The Role

SRG Global Mining Services is seeking experienced Drill Operators ready to take advantage of competitive pay, access to one of Australia's most modern drill fleets, and the opportunity to work on industry-leading mining sites.

This is a Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO)7:7 Roster on Day Shift and Night Shift. The project site is located in Bogie, and would suit candidates in surrounding areas in Northern Queensland

Key Responsibilities

• Operating advanced rigs including Sandvik Panterra DP1500i,
• Maintaining clean and safe drill patterns
• Performing pre-start checks and basic maintenance
• Adjusting techniques to suit ground conditions
• Collaborating with supervisors to meet production targets
• Following safety procedures and contributing to a strong team culture

The successful applicant will ideally have

• Local to Townsville or surrounding areas
• Mine site experience
• Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
• Clean national police clearance
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Bonus Points for

• HR Licence
• RC Grade Control drilling experience
• Cert III in Drilling Operations
• Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (QESC)
