As a Rigger/Scaffolder at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you’ll be responsible for safely delivering rigging and scaffolding activities across site operations. This hands-on role combines technical expertise with mentoring and team support, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

This position follows a year-round day work roster pattern and may require some weekend work and overtime.

Your Role in Action

• Deliver Rigging & Scaffolding Services – Carry out rigging and scaffolding duties across maintenance and operational activities.
• Manage Scaffold Compliance – Oversee scaffold registers and maintain traceability of equipment, inspections, and training records.
• Coordinate Equipment Maintenance – Lead the process for identifying, tagging, and managing out-of-service equipment for repair or replacement.
• Ensure Equipment Safety – Inspect, maintain, and test rigging equipment, ensuring faults are reported and addressed promptly.
• Support Site Operations – Assist with plant maintenance activities and provide support to tradespeople and production teams as required.

Your Winning Combination

Our ideal candidate will hold current High Risk Work Licences in Scaffolding (SI), Rigging (RI), and Dogging (DG), along with demonstrated experience in an industrial or maintenance environment. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach to safety, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively are essential for success in this role.

Additional licences such as Forklift, Mobile Crane, Skid Steer, Gantry Crane, or an HR Licence will be highly regarded.
