Green Light has an exciting opportunity for a high calibre, experienced Cyber Security Consultant (NV2) to join our ACT delivery team. These positions will provide a high level of consultation to established clientele working closely with internal stakeholders in order to successfully uplift the security maturity of the businesses.

The Cyber Security Consultant (NV2) will contribute to the high-level design of standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms and systems. The role requires a forward-thinking individual with the ability to speak with business and operational personnel regarding new and existing technologies and making recommendations when required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and analysis to key stakeholders on the information and cyber security
  • Strong client-facing experience, 100% onsite with end clients
  • Develop, implement and maintain security governance, including but not restricted to security frameworks, policies and standards
  • Third-Party Risk Management, Incident Response Plans, IS18 Assessments, ISMS creation, Business Impact Assessments, Threat and Risk Management
  • Function as the Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance on security governance projects to ensure outcomes are achieved
  • Recommend information assurance to support business requirements
  • Analyse and assess security incidents and escalate to appropriate internal teams for additional assistance
  • Facilitate implementation of designated security framework and relevant procedures

Required

  • 10+ years professional experience within a similar Security Consultant capacity
  • Proven experience planning and delivering significant security solutions and integrating into large enterprise environments
  • Technically agnostic across multiple security platform/technologies
  • Solid Knowledge of risk management guidelines and frameworks such as ISO27005, ISO31000, OCTAVE and NIST 800-30
  • In-depth experience of risk assessment, security best practice and practical application of security controls in an enterprise environment
  • Experience and knowledge of conducting penetrating testing and vulnerability assessments
  • Conduct security and quality assurance reviews of security documentation, project, and external service provider deliverables.
