About The Role
Clear Hayes is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Account Manager to support both Clear Hayes and CHPR, our subscription-based PR offering. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build strong foundations in communications, gain exposure to diverse accounts and grow into a trusted communications consultant advising top businesses and their leaders.
You’ll work closely with senior team members, providing hands-on PR and marketing support across a variety of clients, campaigns, and projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, helping the team deliver exceptional work while learning from experienced leaders.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Team Support
- Assist in managing client accounts across Clear Hayes and CHPR, including day-to-day coordination, updates and deliverables.
- Manage scheduling and prepare meeting notes, timelines and reports to ensure activity runs smoothly and deadlines are met.
- Follow up on client and internal actions with accuracy and accountability.
- Ensure client requests are actioned within agreed timeframes and standards.
Content & Media
- Draft and edit press releases, media alerts, briefing documents and social content, and assist in creation of case studies and award submissions.
- Research journalists and publications, build and maintain relationships, organise media lists and support media pitching.
- Monitor coverage and industry trends, preparing reports and insights for clients.
Events & Campaigns
- Support coordination for client events and Clear Hayes-led activations, including logistics, RSVPs and marketing collateral.
- Contribute to Clear Hayes’ own communications, including social media and marketing content.
Systems & Process Support
- Maintain client WIP documents and dashboards, deliverable trackers and templates to support account management efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior team members to improve workflow and consistency across projects.
Learning & Development
- Participate in training sessions and mentorship with senior consultants.
- Build knowledge in PR, communications and marketing while deepening your understanding of the media, marketing, creative and technology sectors.
- Develop confidence engaging with journalists, clients, and partners.
- Demonstrate curiosity, initiative and ownership in your work, seeking opportunities to add value and contributing ideas that improve outcomes
Qualifications and Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in PR, communications, marketing or media (agency experience a plus, but not essential).
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor content for different platforms and audiences.
- Organised, detail-focused, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities at once.
- A proactive learner, curious about the media and marketing landscape and keen to develop lasting client and media relationships.
- Comfortable working in a team environment and supporting multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to engage professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field preferred.
- An interest in B2B communications, particularly in the marketing, media and technology sectors, is an advantage.
