Blackroc is partnering with a Federal Government client to recruit an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a high-profile identity and access management uplift program.
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will lead a broad range of business analysis activities across complex technology initiatives. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, engineers, service designers and delivery teams, you will translate business needs into clear requirements that support the delivery of secure and scalable identity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across complex ICT initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to elicit business requirements.
- Analyse, map and redesign business processes to improve outcomes.
- Produce high-quality business and functional requirements documentation.
- Develop process maps, customer journeys, personas and other visual artefacts.
- Collaborate with technical teams including architects, developers, engineers and testers.
- Support the delivery of identity and access management initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the adoption of modern delivery approaches and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled ways of working.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 4 years' experience as an ICT Business Analyst.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
- Experience producing business analysis artefacts including process maps, journey maps, personas and requirements documentation.
- Proven ability to build productive relationships across multiple projects and business areas.
- Experience working within, or delivering services to, a Government organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities.
Experience with one or more of the following would be advantageous:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Identity lifecycle management
- Digital identity
- Identity proofing
- Authentication
- Authorisation
- Identity policy or governance
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship is essential.
- Candidates will be required to complete pre-engagement checks, including evidence of Australian citizenship.
