Senior Human Resources Business Partner (ASO6) ASO6 | $69.04 - $71.70 per hour + Super | Adelaide CBD | Contract until 30 June 2027 | Full-Time or Part-Time

Halcyon Knights is recruiting on behalf of a South Australian State Government agency for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (ASO6) to join their team on a contract through to 30 June 2027.

This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the implementation of a new HR platform while contributing to broader strategic human resources initiatives across the agency.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to support the transition to a modern HR system designed specifically for the South Australian public sector. The platform will manage key HR functions including recruitment, learning and development, performance management and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, administration and ongoing optimisation of the agency's new HR platform.
• Provide expertise in HR systems administration and contribute to successful change management activities.
• Develop and deliver learning and development resources to support the rollout and ongoing use of the new system.
• Review, develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with South Australian Public Sector requirements.
• Provide high-level human resources advice and support to managers and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the People and Culture function.

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Significant experience within a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar position.
• Experience implementing, administering or supporting Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
• Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, including the development of training materials and resources.
• Demonstrated experience supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives.
• Experience reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Previous experience working within the South Australian Public Sector will be highly regarded.
