Your job

As a Business Developer, you work in a global team that focuses on improving the performance of our processes, systems and tooling. You do this by translating product and process improvements into value propositions and end-to-end solutions that are consistent with developments in the areas of technology, digitalization, legislation and regulations. You consider the requirements and frameworks set by internal and external stakeholders, such as development, operations, and commercial teams.

You can promote change through the solutions you propose. You clarify how effective improvements in performance, quality and efficiency can be achieved. You provide advice to relevant internal and external stakeholders, creating support for implementing changes and running activities in your discipline.

You have affinity working with larger projects and can take the role of leading the change process, including engaging internal stakeholders and other parties involved. You document the progress and ensure that the parties involved meet expected objectives and ensure that AACB meet external deadlines.

Your working environment

AACBs Risk Cluster consists of four blocks within the Product GRID. The Business Developers will sit in the Risk Reporting block, working alongside IT Developers and a Product Owner. The block is globally responsible for the internal Risk Management interfaces and all reporting activities. The team operates from Sydney but has a global scope.

You will be joining our Sydney office where hybrid working environments are supported. This role will require

• 3 days in the office, and
• flexible working hours to collaborate with team members in other regions.

Responsibilities

• Interact with stakeholders and translate business needs to development tickets - (client) reporting team and clients, Market Risk UI and Market Risk teams globally, and COH/RTRM team to provide clear (data) requirements
• Work closely with IT engineers and provide articulate business requirements
• Document current reporting landscape and processes
• Work with IT engineers and stakeholders to test output
• Support IT engineers and conduct root cause analysis on production incidents
• Be the first person of contact for Reporting related inquiries

Required knowledge and experience

• Relevant Bachelor/Master university degree
• 5 – 8 years of experience in Business Analysis
• Fun to work with and eager to make the team succeed
• Used to working in an international environment. Cultural sensitivity is very important as you will work with over 10 different nationalities
• Have experience in and with Market Risk tooling and understand their needs to translate into value add functionalities
• Experience in data and the ability to translate functional requirements into data needs
• Used to working in an environment in which IT is a strong enabler for business
• You have experience working on complex IT implementations together with IT developers
• You are driven to keep on exceeding the expectations of internal and external stakeholders
• Able to work with externally imposed deadlines and the resulting stress and responsibility
• Not afraid to dive into details and use your analytical skills to think out-of-the-box
