• Location : Sydney, Australia [ Tue and Thu Mandatory to work from office]

Job Spec

Must have: API testing. Manual testing, UI Automation, SQL, Jenkins- CI CD, Jira, Agile Fundamentals, Selenium, C# or Any scripting language hands on

Good to have - BFSI background

• Contributes to the development of robust automated testing frameworks and infrastructure.
• Designs complex test scenarios and test cases that cover a wide range of functional and non-functional requirements, prioritizing testing efforts based on potential business impact.
• Implements advanced strategies for managing test data, ensuring data privacy compliance, and mitigating risks associated with sensitive information.
• Develops sophisticated test strategies that align with the organization's goals, considering industry trends, technology advancements, and the unique challenges of the financial technology sector.
• Under limited direction, creates detailed test plans, considering various testing types (functional, performance, security, etc. ), and ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to optimize system and application requirements, utilizing industry standards and best practices to enhance the clarity and completeness of specifications.
• Delivers expert-level feedback to developers, collaborating seamlessly with technical teams to facilitate constructive discussions on potential changes and improvements identified during testing.
• Drives performance testing efforts, applying advanced techniques to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness, and collaborating with infrastructure teams to address performance bottlenecks. Assesses project risks associated with testing, actively contributing to risk mitigation strategies and ensuring that potential issues are identified and addressed early in the development lifecycle.
• Determines process optimization and standardization within the quality assurance function, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving the adoption of best practices.
• Helps establish and implement defect prevention strategies, leveraging historical data and analysis to identify root causes, subsequently working with development teams to implement preventive measures. Assists in the management of junior team members, providing guidance on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, and contributing to the professional development of the team.
• Experience technical role involving managing projects with a focus on delivering solutions that support broader organizational goals.
• Expected to be able to address-complex challenges and develop effective solutions with both internal experts and external stakeholders.
• Work requires clear and detailed communication, including gathering-functional requirements and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Colleague may lead small teams or independently manage projects, demonstrating a high-level of autonomy and subject matter expertise.
• A university degree or equivalent experience is required, along with strong practical knowledge of advanced theories and principles relevant to the field.
