The Opportunity

Alsco is seeking an experienced Esker Project Manager to join the business on an initial contract assignment. Reporting to senior business stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving the successful embedding and optimisation of the Esker Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform while preparing the organisation for the implementation of the Esker Order-to-Cash (Accounts Receivable) module scheduled for 2027.

This role will work closely with internal finance, IT and operational teams, as well as external implementation partners, to ensure the project delivers its intended business outcomes and user adoption goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the ongoing rollout, embedding and optimisation of the Esker Procure-to-Pay solution.

Coordinate and manage relationships with implementation partners, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Drive project governance, planning, risk management and stakeholder communications.

Ensure project milestones, budgets and deliverables are achieved.

Facilitate business process transformation and user adoption initiatives.

Work closely with Finance and IT teams to support system integrations and operational readiness.

Develop plans and readiness activities for the upcoming Esker Order-to-Cash implementation.

Manage project reporting and provide regular updates to executive stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

Proven experience as a Project Manager leading Esker implementations.

Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.

Experience delivering finance systems, ERP or business transformation projects.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience managing third-party implementation partners and cross-functional teams.

Strong project governance, planning and delivery capabilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Highly Desirable

Previous experience delivering or managing an Esker Procure-to-Pay implementation.

Experience with Esker Order-to-Cash or other Accounts Receivable automation platforms.

Background working with finance transformation, automation or ERP-enabled projects.

Experience within a multi-site or national operational business.

About You

You will bring a combination of strong project delivery capabilities and hands-on experience within finance systems transformation environments.

Essential

Proven Project Management experience delivering complex business or finance transformation projects.

Ideally previous experience leading or managing an Esker implementation.

Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Experience managing third-party vendors and system implementation partners.

Ability to influence and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.

Highly Desirable

Experience with Esker Order-to-Cash (Accounts Receivable).

Background in ERP, automation or digital finance transformation programs.

Experience within large, multi-site organisations.

Finance or accounting systems implementation experience.
