Key Learning Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in product development activities, including supplier communication, prototype testing, engineering documentation, and technical support.
  2. Create and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to improve product information, specifications, and manufacturing references.
  3. Support the quality control process by maintaining QA records, verifying QAL checking methods, inspecting products, and completing corrective actions.
  4. Develop product guidelines containing product information, logos, technical details, and relevant Australian Standards to assist warehouse staff with efficient product checking.
  5. Assist with the Non-Conformance Report system, including identifying defective products, communicating with suppliers, resolving quality issues, and improving NCR templates.
  6. Use Revit to create BIM family models to support civil designers and improve product usability in construction and engineering projects.
  7. Contribute to reducing product fault rates by applying quality control procedures accurately and improving inspection methods.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation for quality assurance, product compliance, supplier issues, and corrective actions.
