What you’ll do
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of change management across all programs, ensuring every program delivers to a consistently high standard, aligned to the portfolio change strategy and enterprise change framework.
- Consolidate program-level impacts into an integrated portfolio view, identifying overlaps, change saturation risks, and sequencing issues that inform the stakeholder impact heatmap and interlock forum.
- Set the quality standards, templates, and delivery playbooks for the portfolio. Conduct regular QA reviews and assurance checkpoints on change artefacts and program-level plans, driving continuous improvement through lessons learned.
- Design, own, and operationalise a single, transparent view of change delivery status, risks, and adoption performance across all programs. Provide insight-rich reporting to enable enterprise and executive conversations.
- Chair the Community of Practice across the portfolio, bringing Senior Change Managers, Change Managers, and Change Analysts together for knowledge sharing, peer review, capability uplift, and problem-solving. Curate a shared repository of tools, templates, and standards.
- Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to change practitioners across programs. Support onboarding, capability planning, and performance discussions in partnership with program leads, and act as the escalation point when delivery challenges arise.
- Curate, maintain, and evolve the suite of change tools, templates, and methods used across the portfolio. Ensure practitioners are equipped with fit-for-purpose, modern tooling and that adoption is consistent across programs.
- Define and track leading and lagging indicators of change effectiveness (awareness, understanding, adoption, proficiency, sustainment) and translate insights into targeted interventions.
- Work closely with Program Leads, the Portfolio Comms Lead, and the PMO to ensure change is integrated with delivery milestones, communications, and business adoption activities.
- Demonstrate ownership of the delivery and assurance agenda, giving the Portfolio Change and Comms Lead confidence and capacity to focus on enterprise and executive stakeholder engagement.
