FinXL is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join its Cloud Operations team. In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain secure, highly available, and scalable AWS cloud solutions and networking capabilities that support government leading systems and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions in line with reference architectures and security guidelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within cloud environments, initiating continuous improvement based on learnings.
• Educate, mentor, and guide internal teams to uplift their cloud skills and implement cloud-based best practices.
• Maintain procedures, processes, and documentation required for environment stability and support.

Technical Skill & qualification

• Extensive experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure, compute workloads (IaaS), serverless resources, container platforms, and cloud-native databases.
• Strong hands-on expertise with physical and virtual cloud networking solutions.
• Demonstrated experience migrating on-premises applications into cloud environments.
• Deep working knowledge of AWS policies and security services to maintain reliability across all cloud accounts.
• Prior experience delivering cloud infrastructure solutions within an Australian Commonwealth Government context is highly desirable.
