You will be a confident writer, editor and storyteller with strong judgement, attention to detail and the ability to adapt your style for different audiences and channels.
You will ideally bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in communications, media, content, marketing or stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Experience translating complex policy, advocacy or industry issues into clear and accessible content.
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to identify compelling member, industry and organisational stories.
- Experience creating content across channels including web, EDMs, social media, publications and internal communications.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience using CRM, email marketing or digital communication platforms to support targeted communications and audience engagement.
- Confidence interpreting engagement data and turning insights into practical recommendations.
Experience in a membership, advocacy, government, media, communications or professional services environment would be highly regarded, as would experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM platforms.
About you
You are curious, proactive and collaborative, with a strong interest in advocacy, public policy and industry issues. You enjoy working with others, building trusted relationships and producing communications that are accurate, engaging and impactful.
You will thrive in this role if you are highly organised, responsive, adaptable and comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can shift quickly.
