Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Traffic Engineering team is seeking three (3) Transport Engineers.
Purpose
To efficiently and effectively deal with all Traffic, Transportation and Parking Management issues for the City of Randwick.
About The Role
- To ensure that all parking, traffic and transportation issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively and in accordance with Council policies, procedures, appropriate guidelines and all legislative requirements
- To liaise with the public and Council’s staff in relation to traffic matters and engineering work.
- To investigate and propose appropriate traffic facilities.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a Transport related discipline, or extensive equivalent experience in the Transport / Traffic Engineering area.
- Demonstrated ability to research, develop, coordinate, manage and implement a wide range of projects to a budget and within defined deadlines.
- High level interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality customer service while communicating and consulting effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
