In this front-line role, you’ll connect with customers, understand what matters to them, and deliver solutions with empathy and care. Every day is unique, with a diverse range of enquiries to facilitate, from answering customer queries to registering requests and applications and much more in-between. Your contributions will help us elevate the customer experience and drive positive outcomes for Dubbo Regional Council and the community we serve.

The role offers 10 hours per week , working Thursday and Friday, 9:00am – 2:00pm , giving you structure, balance, and room to grow.
You’ll make an impact by
- Being the vital link between our organisation and our valued customers, ensuring effective communication and support.
- Executing customer service tasks in alignment with established procedures to optimise the operation of the Customer Experience Centre
- Staying current with Council's services, products, and activities, to provide accurate and valuable information to customers
- Demonstrating an understanding and grasp if Council's policies, procedures, and codes to maintain compliance and uphold high standards
- Proactively identifying and addressing customer dissatisfaction, promptly escalating issues using established customer experience protocols
- Cultivating strong customer relationships through engaging with customers through multiple communication channels.
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III or higher in Customer Engagement, Business
- Relevant experience in customer service delivery in a high-volume environment
- Well-developed communication skills
- Well-developed computer literacy and ability to complete accurate data entry
- High level organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks with competing deadlines
- High level flexibility, adaptability, and versatility t handle multiple diverse tasks across Omni-Channels
We would also love you to have:
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in process, practice and technology
- Well-developed conflict resolution skills
- Willingness to obtain a Justice of the Peace accreditation

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $70,498 to $80,930 pro rata.
