We're looking for an organised Fleet Logistics Support Officer to join our Fleet Management Team to play a key role in supporting the delivery of essential services across Council operations.

What You’ll Do

As the Fleet Logistics Support Officer, you'll be the backbone of our Fleet Management operations, supporting day-to-day logistics and administration activities across Fleet Workshops and the Safety, Environment and Traffic teams.

You'll be responsible for customer focus, coordinating administrative processes, processing work requests and purchase transactions, managing workshop correspondence, supporting invoice and payment compliance, fleet pool vehicles, fleet insurance, infringements data administration, and delivering a high level of service to both internal and external customers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Certificate III in Business (or equivalent qualification) and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with work requests, work orders, defect reporting and general administration functions.
  • Experience monitoring invoice payments and ensuring compliance with financial and audit requirements.
  • Sound understanding of basic financial, contract and accounting concepts.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using a range of business systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Ability to follow processes, work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team environment.
