About The Role

As our Business Adoption Lead, you’ll play a key role in helping Engineers Australia bring meaningful transformation to life. Working across the Transformation Program and broader change agenda, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of business adoption activities that support people to confidently embrace new systems, processes and ways of working. This includes shaping change, communications, learning, workforce readiness and stakeholder engagement to ensure our teams are informed, prepared and supported. Acting as a trusted advisor to executives and leaders, you’ll help build ownership across the business, drive readiness and embed sustainable behaviour change that delivers real outcomes and benefits for our members, people and organisation. This is an 18-month fixed term opportunity.

Flexible with a preference for Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra

In This Role You Will

  • Establish and lead Engineers Australia’s Business Adoption capability, supporting the MCX Program and broader transformation initiatives.
  • Build organisational change and adoption capability, while leading and developing Business Adoption team members and seconded resources.
  • Shape the enterprise change and adoption approach, including the transformation narrative, change story and coordinated adoption activities across workstreams.
  • Partner with executives and senior leaders to build stakeholder commitment, sponsor visibility, leadership alignment and ownership of adoption outcomes.
  • Lead business readiness, change impact assessments and adoption planning across the transformation program.
  • Provide adoption reporting, insights and recommendations, while tracking readiness, engagement, adoption and benefits metrics to support benefits realisation.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise-wide business adoption, transformation and organisational programs.
  • Strong ability to place people at the centre of change, translating strategy into practical actions that build readiness, commitment and adoption.
  • Proven experience establishing adoption capabilities, frameworks, change narratives and business readiness approaches.
  • Strong background supporting enterprise transformation including technology implementations.
  • Exceptional executive stakeholder management, influencing and coaching skills, with experience enabling senior leaders as change sponsors.
  • Demonstrated capability leading multidisciplinary teams, stakeholder engagement, communications, workshops and adoption risk management.
