Overview

We are hiring an experienced Senior SharePoint / SPFx Developer to support the ongoing development, enhancement and modernisation of enterprise SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions within a large federal government environment.

The role will focus on the department’s intranet and Instructional Material Library, both hosted in SharePoint Online and supported by custom SPFx web parts and complex Power Automate workflows.

You will work within a multidisciplinary delivery team and contribute across analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, remediation and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

  • Build, enhance and support SharePoint Online solutions
  • Develop and upgrade custom SPFx web parts
  • Design and implement Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions
  • Integrate Microsoft 365 services using Microsoft Graph and REST APIs
  • Support SharePoint intranet, document library and content management solutions
  • Remediate legacy customisations and upgrade older SPFx solutions
  • Contribute to CI/CD, automated deployment and release processes
  • Apply strong governance, security and supportability practices
  • Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, testers and business stakeholders

Skills and experience

  • Strong recent experience with SharePoint Online
  • Demonstrated hands-on SPFx development experience using React / TypeScript
  • Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Experience integrating Microsoft 365 services through Microsoft Graph and REST APIs
  • Experience delivering SharePoint intranet and document/library solutions
  • Experience with legacy remediation, migration or SPFx upgrades
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD and source control practices
  • Strong understanding of security, permissions, governance and maintainability
