As a key member of the Executive Leadership Group, you will contribute to organisation wide success, working alongside Executive colleagues to drive performance, deliver strategic outcomes and foster a culture where people are empowered to learn, innovate and achieve results.

About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide leadership across the Finance and Procurement, Governance and Engagement, and Customer and Community Services portfolios. You will also assume responsibility for a fourth portfolio, to be determined following discussions with the Executive Leadership Group and the successful applicant.
Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will help shape strategic direction, strengthen organisational performance and deliver positive outcomes for Council and the community.
You will play a pivotal role in
- Providing strategic leadership and advice to support Council's long term success.
- Contributing to the delivery of our Organisational Culture Strategy and cultural shift priorities.
- Building a collaborative, high-performing and accountable workplace.
- Leading innovation and helping Council embrace opportunities presented by AI and emerging technologies.
- Strengthening organisational capability through learning, development and contemporary leadership practices.
- Championing employee wellbeing, psychological safety and positive workplace experiences.
- Building strong relationships with Elected Members, leaders, employees, community members and key stakeholders.

You are a people person who combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen and sound judgement with a genuine commitment to achieving outcomes.
You have a proven ability to lead complex portfolios, navigate competing priorities and deliver organisational improvement in dynamic environments. You build trusted relationships, contribute to collective leadership and bring people together to achieve shared goals. You lead with authenticity and empathy, hold yourself and others accountable, and create an environment where people are challenged, supported and focused on delivering results.
