We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering strategic regulatory and compliance initiatives. Working across a diverse stakeholder landscape, you'll drive discovery, facilitate requirements gathering, analyse business processes, and help deliver solutions that support AML/CTF compliance and operational excellence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BA who enjoys navigating complex environments, influencing stakeholders, and translating business needs into practical, compliant solutions. This role is a 2-year Fixed term contract.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across a significant AML/CTF program.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement sessions to elicit, analyse and document business requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, SMEs, compliance teams, technology teams and vendors to define and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Produce key BA artefacts including process maps, business requirements, user stories, gap analyses and solution documentation.
  • Support Agile delivery practices including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing and business readiness activities.
  • Analyse current and future-state processes to identify opportunities for improvement and regulatory compliance enhancements.
  • Ensure requirements are understood, validated and aligned to business objectives and regulatory obligations.

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst within complex project or transformation environments.
  • Strong AML/CTF experience, ideally with exposure to both Part A and Part B AML requirements.
  • Outstanding requirements elicitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops, conducting discovery activities and translating business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Strong process mapping, business analysis and documentation capabilities.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.

Highly Regarded

  • Payments experience.
  • Financial services, banking or mutual banking industry experience.
  • Experience delivering regulatory or compliance-focused initiatives.
  • Exposure to Jira and contemporary BA toolsets.
