Are you an experienced project leader who thrives on delivering complex technology initiatives and driving meaningful business outcomes?

Greater Western Water is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our IT & Digital Portfolio Delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology projects that support our organisational transformation and enable trusted water services for our customers and communities.

Responsibilities

Leading the delivery of complex IT projects and programs

Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks and dependencies

Driving strong governance and reporting through project control groups and steering committees

Managing vendor and partner relationships

Developing business cases and funding submissions

Supporting change management and seamless business transition

Coaching and mentoring project management resources

Contributing to continuous improvement across delivery practices and project outcomes

Skills & Experience

Significant experience leading complex IT projects

Strong knowledge of traditional and Agile delivery methodologies

Experience managing enterprise software, cloud/SaaS and infrastructure projects

Advanced project planning and scheduling capability, including MS Project

Strong financial management and budgeting experience

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills

Experience working in organisations undergoing significant transformation

A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computing or a related discipline

PRINCE2 Practitioner and/or PMI PMP certification
