School Cleaner – Coomera

Early mornings or afternoons. Weekdays only.

Before the students arrive or after they've gone home, there's a job to be done.

We're looking for reliable Cleaners to help keep a busy Coomera school clean, safe and ready for the next school day.

Role Details

Position: School Cleaner

Location: Coomera Rivers State School, QLD

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: From $33.85 per hour + penalties and super

Contract: Casual

Strong performance may lead to ongoing opportunities, including potential pathways to permanent employment with the Department of Education.

Shifts available Monday to Friday

Morning 4:00AM - 7:00AM

Afternoon 3:00PM - 6:00PM

Opportunity to work both shifts

What You'll Be Doing

Clean classrooms, offices and shared areas

Vacuum, sweep and mop floors

Clean and restock bathrooms

Sanitise desks and high-touch surfaces

Follow cleaning procedures and site safety requirements

What You'll Need

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential

Live in the Gold Coast area

Valid Blue Card

Current National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)

Ability to perform all physical cleaning duties

Ability to pass a medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening
