Full Job Description

Wisely is assembling experienced Fitters, Boilermakers, and Riggers for major CHPP and Fixed Plant Shutdowns & Outages across Tier 1 Bowen Basin mine sites. With shutdowns running through to December 2026, you'll secure consistent work, competitive earnings with weekly pay, and the opportunity to work with experienced maintenance crews on major mine sites.

Confirmed Shutdown Schedule (July - December 2026)

• 3 - 14 Aug
• 10 - 21 Aug
• 19 - 25 Aug
• 31 Aug - 17 Sep
• 16 - 23 Sep
• 24 Sep - 19 Oct
• 29 Oct - 15 Dec

What’s on Offer

• $60 - $90 flat rate
• Super up to 38 hours
• Immediate and Confirmed work for 2026

About the Roles

• Mechanical Fitters / Fitter & Turners - Australian recognised trade certification required
• Boilermakers - Australian recognised trade certification (ISO 9606 weld test required)
• Riggers - RI or RA licence with proven shutdown experience

What You’ll Need

• Australian recognised trade certificate (where applicable)
• Current Driver Licence
• High Risk Work Licence (Rigging, where applicable)
• Minimum 12 months coal mining experience (CHPP experience highly regarded)
