Experienced Conveyancer (2+ Years Experience)

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our growing team in a full-time, on-site position based in Hervey Bay, QLD.

This role is ideally suited to a conveyancer with at least two years' experience managing residential, commercial, family and estate conveyancing files autonomously from contract to settlement.

You will be responsible for running your own matters while working alongside our solicitors and support staff to deliver a high standard of service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Managing residential, commercial, family and estate conveyancing files from contract through to settlement.
• Preparing contracts, transfer documents, settlement statements and other conveyancing documentation.
• Liaising with clients, real estate agents, brokers, banks and other solicitors throughout the conveyancing process.
• Conducting title, property and statutory searches.
• Coordinating electronic settlements using PEXA.
• Providing clear, timely communication and practical guidance to clients.
• Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with legislative and professional requirements.
• Assisting with occasional commercial property matters where required.

About You

The successful applicant will have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience managing conveyancing files.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland conveyancing processes and property transactions.
• Experience using PEXA and other conveyancing software.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage a busy file load.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• A professional, client-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' conveyancing experience.
• Current driver's licence.
• Ability to work in an on-site setting in Hervey Bay.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
