About The Role

We are seeking experienced Boiler / Steam Generator Operators to join our Boilerhouse Operations team. Reporting to the Supervisor – Boilerhouse Operations, you will help deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Working in accordance with site safety, environmental, and community standards, policies, and procedures.
• Operating and monitoring boilers, steam generators, turbines, and associated auxiliary plant to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Carrying out day-to-day operational activities, including plant monitoring, equipment isolation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance.
• Identifying and responding to operational issues to maintain plant reliability and optimise performance.
• Contributing to a strong safety culture by actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives and promoting best practice across the team.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A strong commitment to safety and a proactive approach to creating a safe workplace for yourself and your team.
• A current High Risk Work Licence with a Boiler Intermediate (BI) or Boiler Advanced (BA) endorsement.
• Well-developed problem-solving and fault-finding skills, with the ability to respond effectively to operational issues.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team in a dynamic operational environment.
• A strong work ethic with a reliable, positive, and safety-focused attitude.
• A current Forklift Licence and/or Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket (desirable but not essential)
