An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and hands-on Regional Maintenance Manager to join For Purpose Aged Care.
Supporting a portfolio of residential aged care homes across
South East Victoria, you will play a key role in ensuring our homes remain safe, compliant, well-maintained and welcoming environments for residents, families and employees.
Reporting to the State Maintenance Manager, this role combines leadership, maintenance expertise, project coordination and site support.
You'll work closely with Residential Managers, Maintenance Officers and contractors to deliver preventative and reactive maintenance programs, manage property-related projects and support the commissioning of new homes.

The Role
- Support sites to ensure preventative and reactive maintenance tasks are completed on time.
- Provide leadership, guidance and hands-on support to Maintenance Officers and site teams.
- Manage and coordinate assigned CapEx and property improvement projects.
- Ensure buildings, equipment and grounds remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose.
- Support contractor management and site inductions.
- Assist with commissioning new aged care homes and property handovers.
- Drive compliance with Fire Safety, WHS and relevant building regulations.
- Support aged care accreditation requirements and audit readiness.
- Provide after-hours support for maintenance escalations when required.
About You
- Experience in maintenance, facilities, property services or a similar role.
- Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, retirement living or a multi-site environment.
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and building compliance requirements.
- Experience managing contractors and maintenance projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Trade qualification (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry or similar) highly regarded.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across sites.
