- Expectation to travel across the LAC Ovens Murray service delivery region as required (Benalla, Wodonga and Wangaratta sites)

What you’ll be doing in this role?
The Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Area Manager to support a team of Local Area Coordinators to deliver the LAC services as described in the National Disability Insurance Agency Statement of Requirements.
Under guidance of the management team, the role will provide support and guidance to a team of professional staff.
Under direction of the management team the Team Leader will provide expertise and knowledge to the LAC team. They will also model a collaborative, integrated person centred approach and seek actively to empower customers and people with a disability.
Your work will include
Support the Area Manager with overseeing the day to day activities of Local Area Coordinators and Administrators, and undertake more complex interactions with customers and people with a disability.
Guide and support the LAC team to ensure compliance with the LAC contract, and that the LAC service is delivered in accordance with the standards and requirements within the SoR.
Oversee and provide supervision and ongoing professional guidance and mentoring to local area coordinators.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in managing a team within a community and/or human services setting
- Qualifications in and/or lived experience of disability will be highly regarded.
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (can be obtained during application)
