Start Date: End of July / Beginning of August (Flexible for the right candidate)

Pay: From

$40 $45 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: 2 3 days

Days Hours

• Week 1: Monday Tuesday 7:00am 10:00am and 3:00pm 6:00pm
• Week 2: Friday 7:00am 10:00am and 3:00pm 7:00pm

The roster alternates between Monday/Tuesday one week and Friday the following week. For the right candidate, additional hours can be offered on a weekly basis if they are happy to assist with household duties and help care for the family s new puppy.

There is flexibility during school holidays, and additional hours may become available next year if desired.

About the Family

A warm and welcoming family in Concord, NSW is seeking a caring, organised and proactive nanny to support their two school-aged children, aged

9 and 6 years.

The family is looking for someone who will become a trusted and valued part of their lives. Their previous nanny became much more than a carer she was an incredible support who naturally took initiative, built wonderful relationships with the children and helped the household run smoothly. They are now hoping to find someone who will bring that same warmth, reliability and genuine care.

The Role

This role combines before and after-school care with light household management and offers the opportunity for additional hours.

Morning responsibilities include helping the children prepare for school before returning home to complete a few household tasks and spend time settling the family s new puppy.

Afternoons focus on school pick-up, homework, activities and creating a calm, happy evening routine until the parents arrive home.

A typical day may include:

• Assisting with the morning routine
• Preparing breakfast and school lunches
• School drop-offs and pick-ups
• Helping with homework
• Preparing afternoon tea and dinner
• Engaging the children in play and conversation
• Walking and settling the family s puppy
• Making beds, laundry and light household duties
• Taking initiative around the home where needed

The family is looking for someone who notices what needs to be done and enjoys contributing to a well-run household.

Household Duties

Light household assistance will be appreciated, including:

• Making beds
• Laundry
• Vacuuming
• General tidying
• Walking and caring for the family s new puppy
• Assisting with household organisation and taking initiative where required

Additional weekly hours are available for candidates happy to assist with extra duties.

Pets

The family has a new

8-week-old puppy.

The nanny will be asked to spend some time walking, settling and caring for the puppy during the day.

Requirements

• 3+ years previous experience caring for school-aged children is essential
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid CPR Certificate
• Full driver s licence
