We’re seeking a passionate, experienced

Group/Room Leader to join the team in our Toddler room at St Luke’s Long Day Care, conveniently located just minutes from Capalaba CBD.

We're looking for someone who is driven to lead with purpose, inspire young minds, and create a safe, nurturing space for our youngest learners. This role is Full-time from Monday - Friday, with sessions running between 6.45am - 6pm.

We are a 78-place centre featuring five modern, thoughtfully designed learning environments, two spacious shaded outdoor play areas with a sandpit and herb garden, and well-resourced rooms that support engaging, high-quality learning experiences. Our inclusive and diverse team is supported by an experienced leadership team committed to professional growth. Staff and families also benefit from convenient onsite parking.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive educational program
• Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing and safe environment
• Participate in ongoing professional and personal development
• Promote the service within the local community, aligned with Catholic Early EdCare values and philosophy

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA)
• Current Childcare First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
• Current child protection training
• A valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standard
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
