CBRE is seeking an experienced Retail Associate Director - Facilities Management to oversee a portfolio of retail assets across Brisbane.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational performance, maintenance, compliance, and customer experience across a diverse retail portfolio. You will manage a team of three Facilities Managers, providing support and direction while also directly managing three retail assets of your own.

This opportunity is suited to an experienced facilities management professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, driving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and occupiers.

Here's what you'll do

• Oversee facilities management operations across a portfolio of retail assets throughout Brisbane.

• Support and guide a team of Facilities Managers, encouraging collaboration and best-practice outcomes across the portfolio.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure maintenance programs, essential services, and operational activities are delivered to a high standard.

• Manage operating budgets, expenditure, procurement activities, and service contracts.

• Support planning and delivery of capital works and asset improvement initiatives.

• Drive compliance with statutory obligations, WHS requirements, risk management frameworks, and emergency management procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve building performance, sustainability outcomes, and customer experience.

Here's what you'll need

• Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management, ideally within a retail environment.

• Previous experience supporting, mentoring, or coordinating Facilities Management teams would be highly regarded.

• Strong knowledge of building operations, contractor management, compliance, and risk management.

• Experience managing operational budgets and service contracts.

• Well-developed stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Knowledge of ESG and sustainability initiatives within property management.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
