About The Role

We are seeking experienced Special Class Welders (structural welding) to join our team on a major shipbuilding program. This is an exciting chance to contribute to Australia's defence capability while enjoying excellent conditions, great pay rates, and long-term project security.

About You

• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Safety-focused, reliable,
• Experience in precision fabrication, assembly, and installing structural steel components
• Experience interpreting structural drawings
• Ability to pass MIG fillet weld tests in all positions
• Demonstrated experience in ship or boat building preferred
• Skilled in welding to shipbuilding class standards preferred
• Experience in welding multiple positions using various weld consumables preferred
