Accounts Administrator

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the successful Accounts Administrator responsibilities will include:
- Verifying purchase orders and ensuring accuracy of financial documentation.
- Processing accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, statement reconciliations, EFT payments, and remittance advice coordination.
- Managing accounts receivable transactions, bank reconciliations, and supporting debt collection activities.
- Providing general administrative support to the Finance team.
- Liaising with internal staff, suppliers, and customers to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships.
- Managing email and telephone enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assisting the Finance team with issue resolution and the completion of key deliverables as required.
- Undertaking additional ad hoc duties to support business and team objectives.
A successful Accounts Administrator will have:
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or similar finance role.
- Experience working within a retail, hospitality, or other fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using accounting and ERP systems such as MYOB, Xero, Greentree, SAP, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with high-volume data entry and transaction processing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise across all levels of the business.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement.
