Role: Data Analyst/Data Scientist

Canberra, ACT

11 months initial contract, possible extensions

with Baseline Clearance minimum

Responsibilities:

• Deliver statistical analysis and data-driven insights to inform decision-making
• Build, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations
• Work across data architecture/metadata; support data modelling and data integration
• Maintain and enhance data products (pipelines/models/automations/dashboards) for continuity and performance
• Implement/support data governance and quality assurance processes
• Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver outcomes

Required skills/experience:

• Strong hands-on capability in Power BI, SQL, and Qlik
• Experience with large/complex datasets, data structures and integration approaches
• Strong communication skills (able to explain insights clearly)
• Able to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight
