The Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) is seeking a Strategy & Industry Skills Coordinator to join our Government and Corporate Affairs team.
This is more than a coordination role. You'll work alongside our Industry Skills and Workforce Manager and Head of Government and Corporate Affairs to support workforce strategy, government-funded programs, policy development, advocacy and industry engagement that makes a genuine difference across Queensland.

In this role you'll
- Support the delivery of QTIC's Industry Skills and Jobs Advisor (ISJA) program.
- Research policy, workforce trends and government initiatives.
- Prepare briefings, reports, submissions and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate industry engagement activities and stakeholder relationships.
- Help drive advocacy that supports Queensland's tourism industry.
- Use digital and AI tools to improve the way we work.
We're looking for someone with
Strong organisational and project coordination skills
Excellent written communication and research ability
Experience supporting programs, projects or policy work
A proactive, curious mindset with exceptional attention to detail
A genuine interest in tourism, workforce development and making an impact

Location: Brisbane (with occasional regional travel)
Position: Full-time (Fixed-Term Contract)
