Lead the Next Chapter

Lead one of Australia's most respected women's legal services and help shape the future of access to justice, safety, and support for women across Central Australia. Reporting to the Board, you will lead strategy, governance, and culture across Central Australia and the Barkly region.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead organisational strategy, future growth, and financial sustainability
  • Support the Board through effective governance and risk management
  • Build strong stakeholder, community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partnerships
  • Develop, support, and foster a collaborative multidisciplinary workforce
  • Champion advocacy, community impact, and high-quality, culturally safe services

The Kind of Leader This Community Needs

  • Legal qualifications and a current Practising Certificate are preferred but non-essential
  • Senior leadership experience in legal, community, government, or not-for-profit sectors
  • Understanding of governance, strategy, and organizational management
  • Experience working with remote communities and domestic and family violence issues
  • Proven ability in securing funding, advocacy, and managing complex stakeholder relationships
