Position Description

Active NV1, NV2 or TSPV preferred. Australian Citizens eligible to obtain a clearance are also encouraged to apply. The location is Canberra or Adelaide.

CGI is continuing to invest in the growth of our Space, Defence & Intelligence business across Australia.

As part of that growth, we're expanding our permanent Communications, Space & Electronic Warfare capability to support a strong pipeline of secured programs, current opportunities and future pursuits across Defence, National Security and Federal Government.

We're looking to connect with experienced communications, networking, RF, SATCOM, space and Electronic Warfare professionals who are interested in joining CGI over the coming months. Some candidates may align with immediate opportunities, while others may be considered as new projects commence. Your future duties and responsibilities

As part of CGI's Communications, Space & EW practice, you'll contribute to the delivery of complex programs that enable secure communications, resilient networks and next-generation Defence capability.

Depending on your background and the project you join, you may be involved in:

• Satellite Communications (SATCOM) engineering and integration.
• Communications systems engineering.
• RF and microwave engineering.
• IP networking and secure network design.
• Space systems and ground segment capability.
• Electronic Warfare capability development.
• Communications architecture and systems integration.
• Tactical communications and mission systems.
• Verification, testing and capability assurance.
• Supporting Defence capability acquisition, integration and sustainment.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

We're interested in hearing from professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• SATCOM
• Communications Engineering
• RF Engineering
• Microwave Engineering
• Network Engineering
• IP Networking
• Communications Systems
• Electronic Warfare (EW)
• Space Systems
• Ground Segment
• Tactical Communications
• C4I / C4ISR
• Systems Integration
• Communications Architecture
• Spectrum Management
• Defence communications capability

We're open to candidates at a range of experience levels, from developing engineers through to senior technical leaders. The following would also be highly regarded:

• Experience working within Defence, Defence Industry or National Security environments.
• Experience supporting communications, networking, SATCOM, Electronic Warfare or space capability programs.
• Familiarity with Defence communications environments, mission systems or secure networks.
• Experience across programs such as AIR6500, JP9102, JP9321, JP9347, LAND 200, LAND 2072 or similar capability programs.
