The Organisation
Our client is a leading government-owned financial services organisation embarking on a major transformation program to implement a new
Treasury Management System (TMS). This critical initiative will modernise treasury operations, financial risk management, reporting, analytics and data capabilities across the organisation.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis activities for a high-profile TMS implementation. This is a 24-month contract and requires someone with Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Responsibilities
Working closely with senior stakeholders, treasury SMEs, technology teams and software vendors, you will be responsible for defining requirements, redesigning business processes and ensuring the successful delivery of a modern treasury platform.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation.
- Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Analysing current-state processes and designing future-state solutions.
- Producing business requirements, process maps and traceability artefacts.
- Supporting solution design, vendor management and implementation activities.
- Leading UAT, business readiness and business sign-off.
- Managing risks, impacts, dependencies and change considerations.
- Supporting transition, training and operational readiness activities.
Required Skills
- Proven ability in delivering large-scale business transformation and enterprise system implementations.
- Strong experience across requirements gathering, process mapping, business process re-engineering and target operating model design.
- Treasury, banking, financial services, capital markets or government finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of treasury operations, debt and funding management, cash management, financial reporting and risk management.
- Experience working with software vendors, implementation partners and technical delivery teams.
- Proven stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills.
- Experience leading UAT, business readiness and organisational change activities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Treasury Management System (TMS), ERP, finance or risk system implementation experience.
- Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, AgileBA, BCS or similar).
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or IT.
- Understanding of government governance frameworks, WHS legislation and ISO 31000 Risk Management principles.
