Graduate/Undergraduate Civil Engineer

SteeleEarth is hiring a graduate civil engineer to run stormwater design.

Not to mark up someone else's redlines for two years. To own jobs — pick up a site, work out where the water goes, design the system, and put your name on the drawings that go to council. Checked and taught, but yours.

Typical month: a dual occupancy concept in Stockton, an OSD design in Cessnock LGA, a BASIX and tank assessment on the Central Coast, plus drainage reconstruction on the MidCoast disaster recovery works. Civil 3D and DRAINS, AS/NZS 3500.3 and ARR 2019, and about six council DCPs that all want something different. That last part is the actual skill.

We're small, so you get responsibility early and help to evolve the structure.
