The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Shepparton manufacturing team. Working within a 24/7 rotating shift roster, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and improving the performance of our UHT processing and packaging lines, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment, partnering closely with Operations and Reliability teams while contributing to continuous improvement across the site.

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance across UHT processing, filling and packaging equipment.
• Responding to equipment breakdowns, carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and root cause analysis.
• Supporting production through line tuning, centre lining and process optimisation.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Completing preventative maintenance tasks and capitalising on planned maintenance opportunities.

What you’ll bring

• A current A-Class Electrical Licence (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as an Industrial Electrician within an FMCG, food or beverage manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on automated manufacturing equipment, ideally Tetra Pak UHT filling and packaging systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical control systems.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and OEM documentation.
• Exposure to PLCs, instrumentation, SCADA or industrial automation systems.
• Experience using a CMMS such as MEX (or similar).
• A proactive approach to safety, continuous improvement and preventative maintenance.
