About the role
As Poultry Production Manager, you will lead the operational performance of our rearing farms across the Riverina region, overseeing sites at West Wyalong and Griffith. You will be responsible for driving best-practice poultry production, ensuring the health, welfare and performance of our birds while delivering strong operational, people and commercial outcomes. Working closely with Farm Managers and regional leadership, you will provide coaching, direction and technical support to ensure consistent standards across all sites. You will champion continuous improvement,
strengthen operational capability and ensure compliance with all animal welfare, biosecurity, safety and quality requirements. This is a highly visible leadership role that requires regular travel between sites, building strong relationships with teams on the ground and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and operational excellence.
Responsibilities of the role
- Lead production performance across our Riverina rearing farms.
- Deliver production, quality and budget targets.
- Coach and support Farm Managers and their teams.
- Drive best-practice poultry production across all sites.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor farm performance and implement practical solutions.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare, food safety and WHS standards.
- Train and support teams on company policies and procedures.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Travel regularly between our West Wyalong and Griffith sites.

Your skills, experience & qualifications
- Relevant agricultural degree and at least 5+ years of relevant and related professional experience.
- Full Australian Work Rights and drivers license.
- Demonstrated expertise in poultry management and an extensive knowledge of poultry husbandry
- Planning, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience in planning, organising, prioritising, and coordinating work in a changing environment.
- Experience in cross-collaboration with different departments within a company.
- Availability to work outside of business hours if needed.
