Attractive Rate Contract role open to a limited section of the Federal Government market

Your new company

This Federal Government agency is delivering one of Australia's most significant enterprise transformation initiatives, modernizing critical business systems that support finance, procurement, workforce management and corporate operations.

As part of a major ERP uplift program, the agency is seeking a highly experienced Senior ERP Program Manager to take ownership of the program's risk portfolio. Working within a complex stakeholder environment, you'll help shape strategic decision-making, strengthen governance and assurance practices, and ensure program risks are proactively identified, assessed and managed throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Your new role

As the Senior ERP Program Manager, you will lead enterprise-level risk management activities across a large-scale ERP transformation program. This is not a traditional delivery-focused Program Manager role; success will be measured by your ability to establish robust risk frameworks, provide trusted strategic advice to senior executives, drive assurance activities and ensure effective governance controls are embedded across the program.

You will oversee strategic, operational and delivery risks, manage complex interdependencies, coordinate assurance reviews and audits, support executive reporting and influence key decision-making for a high-profile ERP transition program. You'll engage with senior stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners while ensuring risk management remains central to program success.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll bring a proven track record of leading risk management functions within large and complex transformation programs, ideally within Federal Government environments.

You'll be able to demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise risk management, governance and assurance activities on large-scale programs.
  • Strong audit, assurance, gateway review or program health-check experience.
  • Proven delivery experience supporting major ERP programs, including implementation, modernization, replacement or uplift initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of risks associated with HR, payroll, finance, procurement or shared services environments.
  • Experience managing program interdependencies, enterprise-wide impacts and organizational readiness risks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and navigate complex governance environments.
  • Experience operating across multiple vendors, system integrators and delivery teams within large transformation programs.Candidates with contemporary ERP platform exposure and demonstrated success delivering outcomes in highly governed environments will be highly regarded.

What you'll get in return

In return, you'll secure a pivotal leadership opportunity on a high-profile Federal Government transformation program where your expertise will directly influence program outcomes, risk posture and executive decision-making.

You'll join a complex, enterprise-scale delivery environment, work alongside senior leaders and play a critical role in shaping the successful transition to a future-state ERP capability. This engagement offers the opportunity to apply your expertise across risk, assurance, governance and large-scale transformation delivery in a role with significant visibility and impact.

What you need to do now

If you're an experienced ERP Program Manager with a strong background in risk management, assurance and audit within complex transformation environments, we'd love to hear from you.
